Bonding fabrics can be difficult due to the pile of the fibres and the finish on the fabric itself. For example, automotive carpets and trims require a heavy coat weight non woven tissue tape or even in some cases a transfer adhesive.

Substrates such as ribbon have a high gloss finish, and identifying the correct adhesive for this application is equally challenging. Being suppliers to the automotive and finishing industries we have particular interests in the bonding and lamination of fabrics and through our previous investigations now offer standard products from our range.
